Welcome.
The MGA Foundation is a Scottish Charity (SC047592) supporting people from non-privileged backgrounds currently living in Scotland by offering financial freedom to pursue an education and training in singing, acting, dance and musical theatre.
The MGA Foundation will consider applications from individuals who wish to attend one-off, part-time or workshop educational opportunities at any reputable school within the UK. The MGA Foundation will also consider applications for funding for full-time courses at any CDET-accredited institute in the UK.
We will happily consider financial assistance for those who can demonstrate a real need, are able to contribute towards tuition fee payments, accommodation costs, travel and/or living expenses, and those who are willing to make a future commitment to support the work of the MGA Foundation.
Broadening access to performing arts
The launch of the MGA Foundation builds on a commitment to financially support students on part-time and full-time performing arts courses in Scotland, while also broadening access to encompass workshops, youth theatre and part-time and full-time training opportunities across the UK. Alongside supporting students, this includes creating new and affordable studio facilities and performance spaces, and collaborating with existing training providers.
The MGA Foundation has provided support to young people from a wide range of backgrounds in Scotland to access professional and part-time training. Journey with us and read about some of the people and projects supported by the MGA Foundation as we continue to grow.
